Brazilian agencies based in the U.S. have just created an entity along the lines of ABAP (Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies). The name is BRAG, Brazilian Advertising Group (name and logo “irreverently” designed by Suzuki). Needless to say, although we are still a little less than 20 companies, we are all excited about this initiative that will surely contribute to qualify, regulate and expand the sector. We will hear more about BRAG in the coming weeks. For now, two observations. First: the number of Brazilian agencies and professionals working in the U.S. is surprisingly high. Second: Pellicano M&C, with its 18 years of American and international market experience, comes out as one of the pioneer agencies in the country.
